This is the first release from Spencer Murray Group. It is a collection
of spontaneously composed tracks recorded live in the studio over two
days in January 1998. Spencer Murray Group plays a lively mix of groove
oriented and introspective jazz and features an unusual acoustic/electric
lineup:
2 bassists Jon Evans on electric bass and Spencer Murray on acoustic,
percussionist Ricky Carter on a mixture of African, Latin and jazz drums,
guitarist
Brian Hill on acoustic guitar and keyboardist Michael Bluestein on Hammond organ
and synthesizers.
